Relay Automation
Relay-style strategies automate parts of veRAPH management for patrons who prefer stewardship to hands-on voting. Availability depends on the contracts and strategies actually deployed by Raphael.
A strategy may:
- receive deposited veRAPH NFTs;
- aggregate their voting power;
- cast votes according to a defined policy;
- claim fees, incentives and rebases;
- convert rewards;
- compound value back into locked $RAPH positions or distribute a chosen asset.
Common strategy types
- Compounder: converts eligible rewards into $RAPH and adds them to the managed lock.
- Converter: compounds lock-related amounts while converting other rewards into a selected payout asset.
- Partner strategy: directs voting power toward a defined set of partner pools.
Important consequences
Depositing veRAPH can transfer operational control to the strategy, and it may extend or permanently change the lock configuration. Withdrawals may be delayed by an epoch, an automation run or a contract rule. Convenience is purchased with control; know the price before paying it.
Before depositing, verify:
- strategy contract and manager permissions;
- voting policy;
- reward conversion route and slippage;
- fees;
- withdrawal rules;
- emergency controls;
- audit status;
- what happens if automation stops.
warning
A strategy label or a high historical return is not evidence that a Relay is safe. Read the strategy's contracts and permissions as carefully as you would read a counterparty.
